ROOMS HOTEL TBILISI - Our First Hospitality Project
In 2014, we were hired to produce almost 10,000 meters of wallcovering for a hotel project in the Republic of Georgia. The renovation project of an old publishing house during Soviet rule was reopened later that same year. We had never heard of Adjara Group Hospitality, our client, nor had we ever imaged jumping into the international hospitality or commercial design space so soon. I mean, a girl can dream, but this was a reality.
We were tasked and honored with producing Olivia in all of the 135 Guest Rooms for Rooms Hotel Tbilisi. The Guest Room and Bathroom walls were treated in Kalamata, Picholine, and Seed colorways. Olivia's graphic pattern is block printed by hand bringing an old technique to the present day with added hand painted elements in the grounds.
This project was featured in the New York Times earlier this year.
