2018 KIPS BAY SHOWHOUSE

I came to NYC specifically to visit the showroom and to go to the KIPS BAY SHOWHOUSE which was fabulous this year! It is rare for a showcase house to look coherent and this one somehow managed to do just that. All of the rooms referred to each other in a really wonderful way.  Here are my favorite rooms in no particular order:

WESLEY MOON's butlers pantry was amazing considering the space he had to work with .  As usual with Wesley's work, the colors and elements created an elegant work room for serving the residents. I have to say - if i were the butler here I'd be thrilled to work in such an environment. wesleymoon.com

Barbara Ostrom Associates room was incredible. The Stella-esque ceiling .... the fringe on the pillows. the incredible color choices and layers textures and details .. what can i say... it was a feast for the eyes. Barbara Ohstrom ASID

Sasha Bikoff got all of the accolades i dont think i need to add to the story - except to say - to pull off a design concept such as this ... was amazing and she did!  Sasha Bikoff

This bar was off Drake/Anderson's room.. and  tho i couldn't take a decent picture of it - it is a place id love to drink many absinthe - if i still drank.. luckily for the showcase house - i gave that up ages ago and therefore didn't move in... uninvited. Drake/Anderson

I loved Juan Montoya's room very much.. i ended here in the basement and felt as tho... this is where I would spend all of my time having meetings and hiding out from the family. GORGEOUS, Understated elegance. JuanMontoyaDesign
